Pablo's reply.
Poetry is good for laughter and forgetting
It's an indecipherable way of communicating
And let's you say all you want to
Without the burden of having to say anything at all
Poetry is good songs without tune
And bad memories turned into good
It's an attempt to not understand the world at all
And yet, interpret it as you will

slowness
these days. i walk out of myself.
and away from him. i stand by the door and watch.
what he has become. the places he goes.
the people he sees. the things he says.
i don't pity him. he is not helpless.
neither do i applaud him. he is not great.
i am indifferent. i leave him to what he is.
as if i don't care. as if he is not me.
and away from him. i stand by the door and watch.
what he has become. the places he goes.
the people he sees. the things he says.
i don't pity him. he is not helpless.
neither do i applaud him. he is not great.
i am indifferent. i leave him to what he is.
as if i don't care. as if he is not me.

today
today.
like yesterday.
like tomorrow.
is a stuffed shared transport.
a three wheeler carrying fifteen people
on a road with pale streetlights.
buzzing as if drunk.
singing to shut the silence.
colored as if, the day
has witnessed a death in the family.
as if the world was only a sad place.
today
like yesterday.
like tomorrow.
will fall down and go to bed.
and the streetlights are not so bad.
they are warm and sympathetic.
they just feel lonely sometimes.
and are often misunderstood.

untitled
before i speak -
i take care
to walk on to a patch of soft grass.
and to bend my head
upward.
and only then gradually, softly
utter them.
so that the words.
don't.
fall down.
unaided.
- to you.
in case you are not there.

and to bend my head

and only then gradually, softly
